Right from the get go you could tell that the Duke Blue Devils were going to roll over the Michigan Wolverines. Duke led 41-23 at halftime and cruised to a 95-67 win over the visiting Wolverines. Before the game, Coach K told everyone on the team to be prepared to play early in the ballgame. Everyone was jacked up and ready to play and it really showed on the floor!
The Blue Devils were led by Freshman Taylor King and Nolan Smith. King finished with 18 points, while Smith had a career high 17 points. Gerald Henderson had 12 points and DeMarcus Nelson and non-starter Jon Scheyer both added 10 for the Blue Devils.
Duke will next be in action on Jan 17th when the face off against Albany at Carmeron Indoor Stadium. Tip off is set for 7 p.m. local time.
