Taylor King powers Duke past Eastern Kentucky 78-43

Freshman Taylor King had the hot hand on Sunday as Duke defeated Eastern Kentucky 78-43. King had a career high 27 points as he knocked down six three pointers. DeMarcus Nelson finished with 12 points, and Gerald Henderon had 10 points for the Blue Devils.

Overall it was a lower scoring game then I would have thought. Kyle Singler didn’t have his normal game as he only finished with seven points in 20 minutes of play. He could possibly be tired from the trip out to Hawaii and now playing back in the Eastern timezone.

Duke will next take the court when they play Wisconsin on Tuesday night. Big 10 / ACC Challenge time! This definately will be a tough game for the Blue Devils. Hopefully they come out strong, and win another big game.
