Ryan Kelly commits to the Blue Devils

The Duke Basketball team picked up a verbal commitment from Ryan Kelly on Thursday. Kelly is a 6’9 205 lb forward from Raleigh. Kelly is ranked as the No. 11 prospect in the country by scout.com and the No. 14 prospect by recruiting analyst Bob Gibbons of All-Star Sports.
Kelly took official visits to Georgetown, Notre Dame, Wake Forest and Vanderbilt. He visited Duke and North Carolina unofficially.
Kelly averaged 24 points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots last season at Ravenscroft, which is coached by former Duke guard Kevin Billerman.
The Blue Devils picked up some much needed height with the commitment from Kelly. Now if he could put on 20 lbs of muscle I think he could do very well for the Blue Devils in a couple of years.
