David McClure had a game he won’t forget for a very long time as he scored the game winner with under half a second to go tonight against Clemson. After a terrible inbound pass from Josh McRoberts that allowed Clemson to hit a wide open three that tied the game, McClure received a great pass from freshman Jon Scheyer and layed it in with under half a second left in the game. McClure finished with eight points on the night.
McRoberts had a game high 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Greg Paulus and DeMarcus Nelson had 13 points each. Jon Scheyer, despite a bad shooting night finished with 12 points.
With the 68-66 win, Duke improves to 4-2 in the conference and 17-3 overall. Their next game will be against Boston College on Sunday.
