Johnny Dawkins heading to Stanford

Duke assistant coach and former player Johnny Dawkins is on his way to become the head coach at Stanford sources are saying.  Dawkins will succeed Trent Johnson, who abruptly left for LSU after leading the Cardinal to the Sweet 16.

I don’t know what to think about this to be honest. It comes as a shock to myself to see Dawkins leaving Duke as I always thought he would be at Duke forever.  Where does Duke go for their next assistant coach?

What do you think about Dawkins heading to Stanford and what are your thoughts on the next Duke assitant coach hiring?
