Duke wins Maui Invite with win over Marquette

The Duke Blue Devils are still undefeated in the Maui Invitational after defeating Marquette 77-73. In another game that could have taken place in March, the Blue Devils stood strong and won a close game. I love the fact that they are playing these kind of games early in the season. It will only make them better when ACC play starts, and also into March Madness.

Kyle Singler took home MVP honors of the tournament. Joining Bobby Hurley, Steve Wojciechowski and Mike Dunleavy as Blue Devils who have won the MVP at the Maui Invitational. Singler had 25 points in the championship game, so he brought it when he really needed too.
