Duke rolls past Lenoir-Rhyne 95-42

The Duke basketball team finished up their exhibition games with a 95-42 victory over Division 2 Lenoir-Rhyne on Wednesday night. The Blue Devils as expected dominated at both ends of the court but what really stood out was how well they played on the defensive side of the ball as they caused 20 turnovers and held the Lenoir-Rhyne to 27.9 percent (17-of-61) shooting.

Kyle Singler led the Blue Devils with 22 points on 9-11 shooting. Coack K said the Singler has been practicing very well the past ten days and he expects big things out of him throughout the season. Brian Zoubek added 15 points while Nolan Smith chipped in with 14.

Duke opens the regular season Monday night against Presbyterian in the 2K Sports Classic Benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer. Tip-off is set for 7:00 ET and the game will be shown on ESPN U.
