Duke ready to take on Villanova

Duke will be looking to move on to the Elite 8 tonight when they take on a fiesty Villanova team in Boston but it sure isn’t going to be easy. Villanova matches up very well with Duke and I have a feeling that they will give the Blue Devils a hard time. Look for the Wildcats to rely on forward Dante Cunningham who averages around 20 points a game. Can the Blue Devils stay out of foul trouble and contain Cunningham? I think that is what this game will come down too.

The Blue Devils are back in the Sweet 16 after being upset early in the tournament the past two seasons. Previously they made it to the Sweet 16 nine straight times before the 2007 season. Villanova is back in the Sweet 16 for the fourth time in the last five years. They are a great quality team but I think the Blue Devils will move on to the Elite 8 because they have a better overall team with Gerald Henderson, Kyle Singler and Jon Scheyer.

Look for Henderson to have a big game as he goes up against some of his friends from the Philadelphia area. Henderson almost chose Nova over Duke and says that he knows the program very well. I think he will have a great game and the Blue Devils move on!

When is Coach K going to start recruiting athletes! Zoubek stinks, Paulus stinks. The players CoachK won with in the 90′s will not win now.

Maybe Coach K should spend more time coaching basketball and less time bashing our new president.

    huh?

duke decided not to show up? This is largely due to Nova’s smothering defense, guy. That’s why they couldn’t even score 60 points, guy. Villanova’s a better team this year and your coach admitted it. Give credit where credit is due. Villanova’s Frank Tchuisi was in for a minute and almost equaled Henderson’s point total. Grow up.
