Things started off pretty slow Wednesday night for the Duke Blue Devils but they came out strong in the second half and outscored the Eagles 41-24 in the second half to pull away for the 79-59 victory at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Nolan Smith tied his career high with 24 points to lead the Blue Devils. The balanced scoring attack for the Blue Devils consisted of Kyle Singler (15) , Jon Scheyer (12) and Miles Plumlee (12).
That game was close in the first half as Boston College dominated the paint and kept the game close 38-35. The Eagles were led by Reggie Jackson who pumped in 20 points. Duke did a good job against the rest of the Boston College team so it’s alright that Jackson scored 20 on his own.
Duke improves to 14-2 on the season and will play next on Sunday against Wake Forest. Wake is always a tough game for the Blue Devils so hopefully they come out in the first half and set the pace in the game. Until then, GO DUKE!
