The Duke Blue Devils defeated the Maryland Terrapins for the third time this season as they moved into the finals of the ACC Tournament. Duke and Maryland battled back and forth all game long but it was the Blue Devils who pulled away late in the second half to come away with a 67-61 victory. Now the Blue Devils will take on Florida State who will be making their first ever appearance in the finals. The Seminoles upset the number one seed North Carolina to move on in the tournament.
Jon Scheyer led the Blue Devils with 22 points while Kile Singler added 14 points of his own.
Gerald Henderson scored just eight points, ending a streak of 24 straight games in double figures. Nolan Smith did pick up some of the slack however as he chipped in with 10 points.
With the team making the finals it will be the 10th time in the last 11 years that they have played in the finals. They have also won seven of those ten championships. Let’s sit back and watch the Blue Devils bring home another ACC Tournamant Championship on Sunday and then get ready to print off some brackets later in the day!

Wait. Last two years Duke didn’t make the ACC Tournament finals! Lost first round to NCSU in 2007 and lost to Clemson in the Semis last year.
