Duke loses out on Patrick Patterson

Patrick Patterson today announced that he will be attending Kentucky next fall.  He was the last player that the Duke coaching staff was trying to sign for the 2007 recruiting class.  It wasn’t meant to be, as Patterson selected the Wildcats over Duke and Florida.

Now with Patterson off the board, look for the Blue Devils and Coack K to go after Greg Monroe #1 rated bigman in next years signing class.  It will be tough to get him, but I wouldn’t put it past this coaching staff after striking out with Patterson this year and Wright the year before.

Give up now. Duke wasn’t even really in the running for Patterson and you all think you can land Monroe. Hilarious. Guess you need something to make you feel better about yourselves.

  2. Cliff Says:

Well we were in the final three for Patterson so I would say were in the running.

We are talking about Monroe because he is the #1 big man target for the coaching staff. Look for us to give out two scholarships for the next recruiting class. We will have to see how it works out.

But we love all the non-duke fans that post comments :) Keep em coming!
