Duke holds Virginia Tech to win 72-65

It was another Saturday game that I was unable to watch on tv so I don’t have a lot of input on the game. After watching the highlights on sportscenter, the game came right down to the end with Duke coming away with a 72-65 win.

Gerald Henderson had another nice game as he finsihed with 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Kyle Singler added 21 points of his own as he finally got his touch back.

Virginia Tech is a tough place for the Blue Devils to play so I was glad that they were able to come away with the win. Any win on the road in ACC play is a good win. Duke has two conference games left before the ACC Tournament starts. They take on Florida State Tuesday night and then North Carolina on Sunday.

It’s a sad day when the coach tells the refs who should win, Fla st beat Duke but not in Cameron where none of the fans know a damn thing about basketball or any sporting event!

  2. Cliff Says:

Ha, yeah the fans don’t know anything about basketball or any sporting event. Please.
