Duke gets a 6th seed in West bracket

The Duke Blue Devils found out where they will be playing on Thursday about an hour.  The Blue Devils are headed into Buffalo, New York, and are the sixth seed in the West bracket.

On Thursday they will play Virgina Commonwealth (VCU).  Virginia Commonwealth finished with a regular season record of 27-6 and won the automatic bid out of the Colonial Athletic Association by winning the conference tournament.

If the Blue Devils are able to win, they will then play again on Saturday against the winner of the Pittsburgh/Wright State game.  The West region is pretty stacked with teams like Kansas, UCLA, Kentucky, and Villanova.  Not quite as hard as Carolina’s road will be in the East coast brack though.
