What a great night it was at Cameron Indoor Stadium last night as the Blue Devils knocked off Boston College 75-61. It was also a special night for Sheldon Williams as he had his #23 retired and hung up in the rafters to join all the other Duke greats!
Josh McRoberts had a great game for Duke, he finished with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 blocks. You could really tell that McRoberts was agressive in his gameplay as he took the ball to the basket on many occasions. He also played with foul trouble most of the second half because of that agressive play.
DeMarcus Nelson led the team in points with 17 and also had 8 rebounds. He really helped the team out in the last two minutes of the first half when Duke went on a quick 8-1 run to lead by 8 at halftime.
We will have to keep an eye on David McClure has he went down in the second-half with a right knee injury. It looked to be a hyper-extension but there has been no official statement about it. We can only hope it is a minor injury and David will be back out on the court soon!
