Elliot Williams says Yes to Duke

The Nations 16th ranked player in the 2008 class has said yes to the Duke Blue Devils! Elliot Williams, a 5-star point-shooting guard from Memphis, Tennessee picked the Blue Devils over schools like Memphis, Tennessee, and Virginia. There were a lot of other high profile teams trying to recruit Williams as well.

Rivals.Com lists Williams as the third best shooting guard in the country. I expect Williams to play some point guard as well shooting guard. He stands in at 6’4 and 175 lbs.

Welcome to the Duke Family Mr. Williams!

Kyle Singler leads Duke past Shaw 134-55

Freshman sensation Kyle Singler led the Duke Blue Devils past Shaw by the score of 134-55.  Singler who played 19 minutes, scored 23 points and grabbed five rebounds, three blocked shots, and had two steals.  Sure it was against Shaw but that is hell of a game and considering he did it in 19 minutes!

DeMarcus Nelson threw in 17 points, while Lance Thomas chipped in with 15.

Another bright spot for the Blue Devils was Nolan Smith who came in off the bench to score 11 points, and dish out seven assists while having zero tournovers.
